ASUS ROG Phone 5

The three new gaming smartphone from ASUS has been launched in Indian market – ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro, and the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate (Limited). All three models come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, 144Hz Samsung AMOLED display.

The ROG Phone 5 Pro comes with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and ROG Vision – Color PMOLED display that can show customisable graphics for incoming calls, loading a game, charging, and for others. In other hand The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition comes with a massive 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and monochrome PMOLED display.

Display & Camera

The ASUS ROG Phone 5 has a 6.78-inch (1,080×2,448 pixels) FHD+ AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, 20.4:9 aspect ratio, Pixelworks i6 display processor, and up to 1,200nits of peak brightness. The display also includes DC Dimming support and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus in front and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 in back.

Now comes to camera department, the smartphone packed with triple camera setup with a primary 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The setup also include 13-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. For selfie and video chat the handset has a 24-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

Battery & Performance

The dual-sim handset is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, along with Adreno 660 GPU and up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The smartphone packed with a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging support. For security and authentication, the device has in-display fingerprint sensor others sensors includes AirTrigger 5, dual front-firing speakers, multi-antenna Wi-Fi, and quad-mic noise-cancelling array, all-new thermal design called GameCool 5.
