Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G was released in the Indian market on September 21 featuring a 144Hz refresh rate pOLED curved display, MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, dual rear camera setup with OIS, 68W fast charging, and IP68 water and dust protection. All of these features are very affordable. Motorola Edge 40 Neo competes with the Realme 10 Pro+, iQoo Neo 6, and Samsung Galaxy M53 5G.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo dual SIM (nano) smartphone is powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS2.2 storage. The device has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixel) poLED curved display with 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. The smartphone ships with Android 13 and Motorola promises two years of major OS upgrades and three years of security patches.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo boasts a dual rear camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) capability and an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and an f/2.2 aperture. For selfie lover, It sports a 32-megapixel camera sensor.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W rapid charging. It claims to charge to 50% in less than 15 minutes. The Moto Edge 40 Neo is priced at Rs. 23,999 in India for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB model. The higher model, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs Rs. 25,999. The phone will be available in three colours: Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea, and will be available on the company’s official website, Flipkart, and select retail outlets beginning September 28 at 7:00pm IST.
As a special seasonal deal, the company is providing a special Rs 3000 instant discount on the device. However, there is no information on how long this launch promotion will last.
