On Friday, September 22nd, Vivo T2 Pro 5G was released in the Indian market, with a curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, dual camera system, and 66W rapid charging capability. The device appears to be a rebadged version of the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G, which was released in India last month for Rs. 21,999.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G specifications
The Vivo T2 Pro 5G dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 8GB of expanded RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. The cellphone is alleged to have gotten over 7,20,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform and is the fastest smartphone under Rs. 25,000. The device has a 3000mm square vapour chamber liquid cooling system for thermal control during gaming.
It has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, pixel density of 388 ppi, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The phone ships with Android 13 out of the box, which is based on Funtouch OS 13, and the company promises two major OS updates and three years of security updates.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera configuration with a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.79 aperture, as well as a 2-megapixel secondary portrait sensor. It boasts a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfie enthusiasts. The camera system allows a variety of photographic settings, including night mode, panoramic, time-lapse video, dual view, portrait, and slow motion, among others.

The Vivo T2 Pro 5G is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with 66W rapid charging capabilities. It claims to charge the battery from 0 to 50% in under 22 minutes. The Vivo T2 Pro 5G supports 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, and USB 2.0 connectivity. For authentication, there is an in-display fingerprint reader. Other sensors aboard include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and gyroscope. It also has IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. Finally, it measures 164.10×74.80×7.36mm and weighs around 176 grammes.
Vivo T2 Pro 5G price in India, availability
The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the Vivo T2 Pro 5G costs Rs. 23,999. The higher high end model, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, prices Rs 24,999. The handset is available in two colours: New Moon Black and Dune Gold. It will be available from September 29 through Vivo’s India e-store, e-commerce site Flipkart, and select retail outlets.
Vivo is providing a Rs. 2,000 immediate discount on purchases made using ICICI and Axis bank cards. It also offers an additional exchange bonus of up to Rs. 1,000.
