The latest budget offering from Redmi Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi 12C launched in India. The Note 12 lineup has now have total 4 smartphone- Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 Pro+ 5G, and the newly announced Redmi Note 12 4G. The Redmi 12C comes with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, LCD display, 5000mAh battery and dual cameras.

Redmi Note 12 4G specifications
The dual-SIM mobile phone is powered by a 6nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC paired with Adreno 610 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS2.2 storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 1TB.
It sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. It runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
Talking about camera, the handset have triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, alongside with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfie lover, the Redmi Note 12 4G has a 13-megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video calls.
Redmi’s Note 12 4G back with a 5,000mAh battery and offers 33W fast charging support. For connectivity, the handset supports GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. For authentication, the Redmi Note 12 4G has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in place on the right side edge of the device. Lastly, the phone comes with an IP53 rating, weighs 183.5 grams, and measures 165.66mm x 75.96mm x 7.85mm in size.

The dual-sim Redmi 12C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC that comes paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Users can expand the storage capacity up to 1TB via a microSD card slot and the Virtual RAM feature expands the RAM by an additional 5GB. It is runs on Android 12 based MIUI 13 out-of-the-box.
It is features with a 6.71-inch HD+ (1,600×720 pixel) LCD display with a refresh rate of 60Hz and 20:9 aspect ratio. The Redmi 12C has a dual camera setup at the back, 50-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. For selfies, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor for photo and video.
The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh capacity battery that supports normal 10W charging. Connectivity option includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro-USB port. For security, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor other sensor includes an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, and accelerometer. Xiaomi says the Redmi 12C also has an IP52 rating for resistance to water splashes.

Redmi Note 12 4G priced in India starts at Rs 14,999 for 6GB + 64GB variant and 6GB + 128GB variant cost Rs 16,999. It will be sold in Lunar Black, Frosted Ice Blue, and Sunrise Gold colour options from April 6th through Flipkart, and mi.com. Company is offering a Rs 1,000 discount on purchase using ICICI bank cards, company is also offering a loyalty discount of Rs. 1,500.
The Redmi 12C priced at Rs 8,999 for base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variants. While 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will cost Rs 10,999. It will be available in Matte Black, Mint Green, Royal Blue, and Lavender Purple colours options from April 6 at 12 PM via Flipkart, Amazon and mi.com.
