POCO X4 Pro successor POCO X5 Pro launched in India market with Snapdragon 778G SoC, 6.67-inch full-HD+ Xfinity AMOLED Display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup. The handset is said to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition.

Poco X5 Pro 5G is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, coupled with an Adreno 642L GPU. It is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device features with a 6.67-inch (1080×2400 pixels ) Xfinity AMOLED Display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 900 nits of peak brightness and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports HDR10+, and protected by Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The down side is it is runs Android 12 based on MIUI 14 out of the box and company promise only two major android update (i.e Android 13 and Android 14) and three years security update.

In terms of optics, the Poco X5 Pro 5G packed with a triple rear camera setup with 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM2 primary sensor. The setup also include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The rear camera unit is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps. For selfie lover, it has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter that can record full-HD videos at 120fps.
The Poco X5 Pro 5G back by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and 5W wired reverse charging. Connectivity option include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, dual-stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, and an IR blaster. The handset measures 162.91×76.03×7.9mm and weighs about 181g. It is rated at IP53 for dust and water resistance.

POCO X5 Pro price in India starts at Rs 22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variants and Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version. The phone will be available via Flipkart and comes in POCO Yellow, Astral Black, and Horizon Blue colour options. The sale stats 6 PM today i.e February 6th. The company is offering Rs 2,000 off on ICICI Debit and Credit card and EMI transactions.
